The Model 200W1000M7 is a self-contained, air cooled, broadband, completely solid-state amplifier designed for applications where instantaneous bandwidth and high gain are required. Push-pull circuitry is utilized in all high power stages in the interest of lowering distortion and improving stability. The Model 200W1000M7, when used with an RF sweep generator, will provide a minimum of 200 watts of swept power.
The Model 200W1000M7 can be remotely controlled via the Amplifier Research CP2001 or CP3000 controller/interface unit. Both units have a control panel with switches for remote operation of the major amplifier functions. In addition the CP2001 provides a TTL level controller interface connector and the CP3000 has an IEEE 488 interface.
Housed in a stylish, contemporary equipment rack the Model 200W1000M7 provides readily available RF power for typical applications such as RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, and use as a driver for higher power amplifiers
