Endevco Model 2256A Isotron Accelerometer + 3061A Cable For Vibration Sensor

The Endevco® Model 2256A is a small, hermetically sealed piezoelectric accelerometer with integral electronics, designed specifically for measuring vibration on small structures. The transducer features a hermetically sealed 10-32 top connector, and has a titanium hex base designed for adhesive mounting. Its light weight (4.3 gm) effectively minimizes mass loading effects.

The Model 2256A features Endevco's Piezite® Type P-8 or P-10 crystal element, operating in annular shear mode, which exhibits excellent output sensitivity stability over time. This accelerometer incorporates an internal low noise hybrid signal conditioner, using a two-wire system, which transmits its low impedance voltage output through the same cable that supplies the required constant current power. Signal ground is isolated from the mounting surface of the unit. A model number suffix indicates acceleration sensitivity in mV/g; i.e., 2256A-10 features output sensitivity of 10 mV/g.
