All BT turrets have ultra low profiles, enhanced vacuum fluorescent displays viewable from any angle, adjustable audio feedback, soft keys, and various ringtones for different types of incoming calls. Each soft key is associated with a bright, automatically updating, graphical display, providing eight characters for the line or functional label and four characters for the status. The soft keys incorporate both a red and green LED to provide further indication of status. Labels in Kanji characters can also be supported, as required.
All turrets conform to the modular ITS desk format, which enables matching speaker and intercom modules to be firmly attached. Each can also be fully integrated with all other desktop equipment, including headsets and handsfree monitors - with simple toggling between handset and microphone and automatic muting when another user is on-line.

The ITS Turret pV405
The pV405 is a soft key turret, providing 48 keys with associated electronic display labels. A notably compact and stylish unit, the pV405 adopts the modular ITS 'pV' range desk format, which enables matching speaker and intercom modules to be firmly attached. The pV405 provides a dial pad, twin handset controls with handset status displays and a number of dedicated function keys. The pV405 supports a direct connection onto Cat-5 or Cat-6 avoiding the need for under-desk connection equipment.
The pV405 provides 48 soft-keys in two banks of 20 keys and a central display with 8 keys, which provides 2 lines of 21 characters for handset status. The soft keys are used to access lines or functions. Each soft-key is associated with a bright, automatically-updating, graphical display, providing 8-characters for the line or function label and 4-characters for the status. This enhanced vacuum fluorescent display can be viewed from any angle. The soft-keys incorporate both a red and green LED to provide further indication of status. All keys provide audio feedback, which is adjustable by the user.
ITS Turret pV405 Features
Modular Compact Enclosure
ITS turrets use a common modular housing designed to attach firmly to other ITS 'pV' range desk units, such as speakers and intercoms. The turrets can be either free-standing or built-in to the desk. At 20cm high, the turret fits neatly under the monitors and with a depth of 4cm, it takes a minimum of desk real-estate. In free-standing mode, the turret can be adjusted to an angle of 37° or 55°.
ITS Turret Peripheral Bus
The pV405 supports the ITS peripheral bus which enables it to integrate with other 'pV' range desktop equipment. Examples of integration are automatic labelling of speakers, toggling between handset and microphone and automatic muting when another user is on a line. ITS peripherals are easily added to the turret by connecting to the bus and configuring from the ITS system administration.
ITS turrets support a range of different handsets, including confidencers and headsets. A universal connection is provided which automatically adjusts to different handset types. Handset controls are provided on the turret, suitable for left and right-handed users.
The pV405 provides a range of ring tones that can be allocated to different types of incoming call. The tones can be pre-set by the user and switched on and off at will.
The pV405 incorporates the MegaLink interface, providing a direct connection to the structured wiring without the need for an under-desk hub. The turret is powered from a low voltage DC supply, which can be provided locally or fed from the central equipment over the structured wiring
