The Fakerscope 2500 has asynchronous and bisynchronous message generator and capture facilities of up to 72kbps. It is compatible with HDLC and SDLC formats Is fitted with a qwerty keyboard and will decode at levels 2 and 3 for both X.25 and SNA. In addition, it includes 8kbyte of non-volatile capture RAM, a buffer search and trigger facility and a bit error rate tester.
