Wandel & Goltermann OLA15 Optical Attenuator 1310nm - 1550nm

The Wandel & Goltermann OLA15 Optical Attenuator has continuously variable attenuation Settings which make it ideal for determining receiver sensitivity or the dynamic range of Optical Systems. The OLA15 is calibrated at 1310 nM and 1550 nM.

The OLA-15 Optical Attenuator is a handy-sized, rugged instrument for variably attenuating optical signals in single-mode applications at 1310 and 1550 nm. Example applications include the simulation of line loss for BER tests on fiber optics systems, the determination of system margin / receiver sensitivity or the calibration of optical power meters.

Wandel & Goltermann OLP-15B Optical Power Meter - 800nm - 1700nm

The OLP15B is specially suited to measuring high power levels, such as those found in CATV systems, optical amplifiers (e.g. EDFA) and high-power lasers. The upper display limit for the OLP-15B is +20 dBm and for the OLP-18B +26 dBm. The lower limit of below -60 dBm means that the instruments are suitable for practically any application.
