Overview
The AJA KONA LHe offers a full ride to HD with no-compromise, 10-bit uncompressed video, 2-channel AES and 8-channel embedded audio, analog composite/component video I/O, 2-channel analog audio I/O, broadcast-quality hardware downconversion and TBC on analog inputs. KONA LHe bridges the analog and digital worlds by offering I/O for both. It also features dual-monitor desktop viewing for editing ease and includes a breakout cable, with optional KL-Box support for rackmounted I/O convenience.
KONA LHe Hardware Acceleration
Final Cut Pro users benefit from DVCPROHD, HDV, and Apple RT Extreme hardware acceleration. This reduces CPU load and allows more real-time effects. It supports HD capture using internal storage and improves performance further with faster storage solutions. It also supports downconversion for SD workflows.
Native 10-Bit Video
Supports native 10-bit resolution for optimal SD and HD quality. Captures directly to 10-bit QuickTime files and supports legacy 8-bit formats along with DVCPROHD, HDV, DV25, DV50, JPEG and more.
Pro Audio Support
Offers multi-channel audio support with 24-bit AES/EBU digital audio at 48kHz. Includes hardware sample-rate conversion on AES inputs for simplified workflow.
KONA LHe Supports Final Cut Multi-Cam Feature
Supports multi-cam playout with up to 16 video sources in real-time. Streams can be monitored simultaneously or individually through professional SDI, HD-SDI, or component outputs, making it ideal for advanced editing workflows.
