Data import allows rapid comparison of the final refraction with the previous spectacles, enabling patients to easily visualise the value of small changes in their prescription.

Digital Connectivity

The CV-5000 can receive refraction data from Topcon instruments and/or selected non-Topcon devices, such as refractometers and lensmeters, allowing the import of key pretest data. Automatic data transfer avoids transcription errors associated with manual typing and speeds up workflow. It also allows quick comparison between the current refraction and the patient’s previous visual condition, helping them recognise the benefits of small prescription changes — or the value of a second pair for night driving or PC screen use.
